Friday afternoon sport for the Year 5 and 6's with BMC Year 12
Some Year 12 students from BMC have been coming up and taking the Year 5 and 6 students for sport. It's a great way to connect with the college and meet the Year 12's that will help our Year 6's in Peer Support when they head down there in 2016.

We are learning skills that help us play cricket well. We had great fun learning to catch by preparing our hands, bowling with a straight arm and turning our body sideways and how to step in when we hit the ball. Thanks Willie, this was awesome.

Wahoo! We have been treated to a visit from author Craig Smith. He sang his way through a variety of his books including Wonkey Donkey, My Daddy Ate and Apple and his latest Eating. We were lucky to attend this show and found lots to laugh about and lots to do!

On Friday, Mrs Box had us making bridges. We then tested them to see how many stones they could hold to test their strength. We had been learning about different bridges, their structures, what helped strengthen them and what didn't. These are a few of the end results!
